Skylar and Melissa’s wedding was magic. Pretty much a perfect day, and a perfect wedding, at the fabulous Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco, California, right on Union Square. Gorgeous bride, handsome groom, cool family and friends, all the details were perfect. Check out their wedding film:
Thanks for the look y’all!
There was a special bit of magic around this wedding. Besides how awesome this couple is, it was a gorgeous Fall day at Seascape beach Resort in Aptos. What a beautiful venue for a wedding, as you can see. I am always so excited when I get to shoot there. The bride and groom, Rachel and Andrew are so cool, and are surrounded by wonderful family and friends. They all made this wedding FUN! Shout out to all the great vendors that helped make this day perfect: Maggie Rawleigh, Bridgette Quartararo, and all the professional staff at Seascape. Seascape Flowers made all of the stunning floral arrangements. The Buttery in Santa Cruz provide the elegant and super tasty cake. And Adrian Cavlan of Sound in Motion was our Master of Ceremonies, he Rocked the house, and had everyone dancing.
November at the California coast is beautiful. You can get beautiful sunsets and dramatic skies. Not much fog. If you’re a landscape photographer, you might want to add the Natural Bridge in Santa Cruz to your portfolio. Bring the tripod for long exposures. This is the time- you might see me there at sunset trying for the perfect shot : )
Meet Jimmy and Allyson, a super sweet couple from the East Bay, getting married on the beach in Monterey at the Monterey Beach Resort next year. They love the coast, and I was psyched when they said that they wanted to shoot their engagement session down by the beach. We had fun shooting, they are so carefree and awesome. Very relaxed. I thought that they were made for each other : )
Thanks much guys, you ROCKED your session! Can’t wait for your wedding!!!
Cool people here. You might remember Ken & Ly from their gorgeous wedding at Hong Kong East Ocean last Summer- thanks so much guys for having me! With such nice people, it’s always a pleasure to get to get together and do another session after the wedding day is over. Ken & Ly chose Golden Gate Park, and the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden, and once again they rocked it! Great job guys, we got some cool images!
Love was everywhere! What a beautiful couple, and gorgeous wedding! You might remember Omar & Julie from their fab engagement session a few months ago- we had a blast- literally, we got sand blasted down on Pfeiffer State Beach in Big Sur! Their spectacular wedding day was held at the beautiful new InterContinental The Clement Monterey. Shout out to Donal Daly and all the staff, it is always a pleasure to work with such professionals! Everything came together to perfection, from the stunningly beautiful and tasty cake by Marina Sousa of Just Cake, to Julie’s sister Megan McDonnell’s creative and original table decorations- you guys really outdid yourselves! Marty Satow of Good Vibrations rocked the reception, and fun was had by all!
Thanks so much for having me guys, it has been truly a pleasure working with you and your families. Enjoy the pictures friends, and your comments are always appreciated! Have a great weekend!
Heidi and Damien’s oceanic themed wedding was absolutely beautiful. A gorgeous bride, handsome groom, great families, and a beautiful day all added up to a perfect wedding day. The scene was the beautiful Perry House in Monterey, California, an elegantly restored old Victorian Whaling Captain’s home, that’s become a truly distinctive wedding venue. The service and catering are first rate, and helped make the day so perfect. Melody King of Fleurish Floral Design made the beautiful flower arrangements, and everything came out so gorgeous! Tammy at Room For Dessert made the lovely and tasty wedding cake and fun cookies. Peter Burkhard from Kelly Productions was a fantastic MC, and rocked the house with his DJ skillz.
There was definitely a lot of Aloha spirit at this wedding. Tons of Love everywhere, and Heidi and Damien are truly meant for each other. Congrats guys, you had an awesome day! Take care and thanks so much for having me!
Whoo hoo, thanks to my awesome clients last year! They voted me the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2014 for excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism!
Nestldown is a unique venue in the Santa Cruz mountains. It’s a beautiful fairy tale world with redwoods, ponds, thousands of tulips and well tended gardens. There’s also a real ginger bread house, a small gauge railroad that you can ride, and it’s a fantastic location for photographs and wedding films. Josh and Elizabeth discovered it by searching google, and booked their fab destination wedding there immediately. They wisely hired Amy Frugoli of Twitterpated Weddings, and gave her carte blanche to put together a gorgeous wedding. Check out the great details she designed! Here’s a teaser from their wedding film:
