“Wow, what a beautiful couple, she’s gonna make a gorgeous bride!” What my wife said as I was editing these images. It’s true guys, and I can’t wait for your wedding, it’s going to be epic. Old St. Hilary’s is a beautiful church, and the Corinthian Yacht Club is a great spot for your reception. Great choices for cool pictures. Epic views.

We had a blast shooting around San Francisco near where they live in Russian Hill, at the Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason, etc., some places that held significance for them. All around great session. See you guys soon!

November at the California coast is beautiful. You can get beautiful sunsets and dramatic skies. Not much fog. If you’re a landscape photographer, you might want to add the Natural Bridge in Santa Cruz to your portfolio. Bring the tripod for long exposures. This is the time- you might see me there at sunset trying for the perfect shot : )

Meet Jimmy and Allyson, a super sweet couple from the East Bay, getting married on the beach in Monterey at the Monterey Beach Resort next year. They love the coast, and I was psyched when they said that they wanted to shoot their engagement session down by the beach. We had fun shooting, they are so carefree and awesome. Very relaxed. I thought that they were made for each other : )

Meet Mike & Sasha y’all! These 2 guys are a blast- I had the best time shooting around San Francisco with them. Totally chill, fun, up for anything. I think I said “Oh, this is awesome!” about 20 times. They’re getting married at The Perry House in Monterey, a lovingly restored Victorian mansion full of beauty and charm. Can’t wait! I loved this session, it was unforgettable, for a few reasons. Yes, Juliette and Mike really are that in Love. Yes, Juliette is gorgeous (she was Playboy Playmate of the Month for June 2008). Yes, Mike’s a stud. Yes, they are super fun, were a blast to shoot with, and had tons of good ideas for shots- they were up for anything (always a recipe for awesome). They were even up for shooting in a construction site (that’s a whole ‘nother story). As you can see, they rocked their session. I seriously can’t wait to shoot their wedding this Fall at beautiful Byington Vineyard & Winery, knowing them, it’s gonna be much fun! BIG CONGRATS GUYS!

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk!

Meet Tom and Julia, two very sweet people, totally in Love. They’re getting married this Summer at Kennolyn, a gorgeous venue up in the redwoods overlooking Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay. I love weddings there! Kennolyn is also an awesome Summer Camp, (my son is camping there this Summer). And that’s how Tom & Julia met- they were Kennolyn camp counselors! Very cool.

Julia grew up in Santa Cruz, so we decided to head down to the Boardwalk and take in some of the local flavor. What a fun session, I had a blast. As you can see, we made some nice images ; ) These guys were so creative, and up for anything!
