Hey all, I just wanted to give a shout out about a company that I’m using for flash drives. I switched away from storing digital media on DVD’s a while back, and have been using USB flash drives. I was lucky to find USB Memory Direct who were able to provide me with exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier.
Skylar and Melissa’s wedding was magic. Pretty much a perfect day, and a perfect wedding, at the fabulous Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco, California, right on Union Square. Gorgeous bride, handsome groom, cool family and friends, all the details were perfect. Check out their wedding film:
There was a special bit of magic around this wedding. Besides how awesome this couple is, it was a gorgeous Fall day at Seascape beach Resort in Aptos. What a beautiful venue for a wedding, as you can see. I am always so excited when I get to shoot there. The bride and groom, Rachel and Andrew are so cool, and are surrounded by wonderful family and friends. They all made this wedding FUN! Shout out to all the great vendors that helped make this day perfect: Maggie Rawleigh, Bridgette Quartararo, and all the professional staff at Seascape. Seascape Flowers made all of the stunning floral arrangements. The Buttery in Santa Cruz provide the elegant and super tasty cake. And Adrian Cavlan of Sound in Motion was our Master of Ceremonies, he Rocked the house, and had everyone dancing.
I absolutely love Holman Ranch! When I drive in through the gates, I feel like I’m entering an enchanted world of beautiful rolling hills, oak trees, gorgeous ranch houses, stables, etc. It’s one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the state. With so much beauty everywhere, and a couple that is totally in Love, like Deirdre and Christian, you get a lot of awesome images. They certainly knocked it out of the park with all the beautiful details that they planned to make their wedding day so personal, and perfect. Their love for each other, and their beautiful families, made for a memorable day. The great staff at Holman Ranch, the fabulous coordinators from Coastside Couture, and a great team of vendors (full credits below), made it all magic! Deirdre, you were gorgeous, and Christian, you are the Man, it was such a pleasure to be a part of your special day. Thanks for having me! Shout out to Julie Cahill for all the help!
I loved this session, it was unforgettable, for a few reasons. Yes, these guys really are that in Love. Yes, she’s a gorgeous creative artist, and writer. Yes, he’s a stud. Yes, they are super fun, were a blast to shoot with, and had tons of good ideas for shots- they were up for anything (always a recipe for awesome). They were even up for shooting in a construction site (that’s a whole ‘nother story). As you can see, they rocked their session. I seriously can’t wait to shoot their wedding this Fall at beautiful Byington Vineyard & Winery, knowing them, it’s gonna be much fun! BIG CONGRATS GUYS!
I smiled the entire time I was editing these images. THANKS so much Kat & Zac, your wedding was spectacular! This is why I love photographing weddings, what a beautiful day, great friends and family, and a lot of LOVE all around. Special thanks to Kat’s mom Libby for all of your help arranging everything. Followers of this blog, you’ll recognize Kat & Zac from their rockin’ engagement session. As I predicted, their wedding at the beautiful InterContinental The Clement Monterey, was really fantastic. Shout out to Donal Daly and all the great staff! From Kat’s beautiful Carolina Herrera couture dress, to Steve Ezzo’s (guitarist for Three Dog Night in the 80’s) beautiful guitar playing, every detail was really perfect. Melody King of Fleurish Floral Designs designed the gorgeous flowers, Lori Ruedi of Paper and Thread Studio made the beautiful paper goods and that super cool sign. And that awesome Cupcake Cake, by Pastries & Petals, was soooo tasty! Big props to Melissa Attard for assisting me for the day!
Enjoy the pictures friends! Your comments are always appreciated- Have a great weekend!
November at the California coast is beautiful. You can get beautiful sunsets and dramatic skies. Not much fog. If you’re a landscape photographer, you might want to add the Natural Bridge in Santa Cruz to your portfolio. Bring the tripod for long exposures. This is the time- you might see me there at sunset trying for the perfect shot : )
Meet Jimmy and Allyson, a super sweet couple from the East Bay, getting married on the beach in Monterey at the Monterey Beach Resort next year. They love the coast, and I was psyched when they said that they wanted to shoot their engagement session down by the beach. We had fun shooting, they are so carefree and awesome. Very relaxed. I thought that they were made for each other : )
Thanks much guys, you ROCKED your session! Can’t wait for your wedding!!!
Cool people here. You might remember Ken & Ly from their gorgeous wedding at Hong Kong East Ocean last Summer- thanks so much guys for having me! With such nice people, it’s always a pleasure to get to get together and do another session after the wedding day is over. Ken & Ly chose Golden Gate Park, and the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden, and once again they rocked it! Great job guys, we got some cool images!
